2013 POLICE OFFICER ENTRANCE COURSE
P.T.S. Announces Our “On-Target” online course to prepare candidates for the upcoming
POLICE OFFICER ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
scheduled for November 16, 2013
This three (3) session online course will start the week of October 13, 2013.
All sessions include AUDIO PRESENTATIONS, SUBJECT AREA BREAKDOWNS, CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION TECHNIQUES and PRACTICE QUESTIONS covering:
- MEMORY FOR FACTS AND INFORMATION
- PREPARING WRITTEN MATERIAL IN A POLICE SETTING
- READING, UNDERSTANDING, AND INTERPRETING WRITTEN INFORMATION
- APPLYING WRITTEN INFORMATION IN POLICE SITUATIONS
(RULES, REGULATIONS, POLICIES, PROCEDURES, DIRECTIVES, ETC.) - LEGAL REASONING SKILLS
(INDUCTIVE, DEDUCTIVE and SYLLOGISTIC) - JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING METHODS
This course will be comprehensive and will cover all of the topics that will be on your exam!
Upon registering for the course, students will receive
immediate access to their online account which contains an introduction to the course.
The three (3) course sessions will post (and remain available through the date of the exam) to registered student accounts on:
October 13, 2013 – Session #1
October 20, 2013 – Session #2
October 27, 2013 – Session #3
TUITION: $100 for the FULL COURSE.
