We are currently developing the course materials which will be “ON TARGET” for both the M.T.A. Sergeant and Lieutenant Promotional Examinations!
Much of your exam is open book. That means that examiners (EB Jacobs) can and will – no guess work, we know this from experience – put together some of the toughest LAW questions to appear on police promotional examinations. Applying the SUPERVISION, ADMINISTRATION and LEADERSHIP concepts in the closed book portion of the exam will also prove challenging to test takers. Our course will contain comprehensive coverage of these EXTERNALS.
We take the position that you are responsible to know your INTERNALS – so our coverage of your Department Manual will be limited to only those few things that deal with the most difficult LAW and SUPERVISION concepts. Our advice is this: between now and the P.T.S. Cram Course study your INTERNALS and wait for our Cram Course to tackle the EXTERNALS.
