2013 FIRST-LINE SUPERVISOR (SERGEANT/CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR) COURSE IS UNDERWAY
Session #1 was posted at 00:01 hours on January 20th and the P.T.S. students have begun their preparation for the upcoming promotional examination.
The immediate feedback is that the online delivery of the P.T.S. courses is ideal for members of law enforcement. With the posting of Session #1, the students have found that they are receiving the audio and written materials in a way that allows them to prepare at any time and from anywhere. Students who have previously taken a P.T.S. course have commented that they are receiving more information than ever before and that the online delivery organizes the course in a way that allows them to work through the volumes of material like never before!
All written material contained in each session can be printed. However, it can only be printed one time and students must be certain that they are ready to print the material when they press the print button for any of the digests or questions and answer sets. Both before and after printing, the written material remains online for students to work with throughout the course. And, the audio presentation for each session also remains available throughout the course.

The majority of the students are preparing for their promotional examination which is anticipated to be held this June. Some are already preparing for their 2014 examination. And, some are taking the course as a primer to the Police Tutorial Service Second & Third-Line Supervisor (Lieutenant and Captain) Course which will start in June and continue through the fall examinations.
New students can join the P.T.S. courses at any time before they take their examination. Of course, the earlier students start to prepare, the more time they will have to work through all of the materials - more than once - and position themselves to have a "Lucky Saturday" that puts them at the top of their promotional list.
Good luck to all of you!
Fraternally,
George Mullins and the P.T.S. Staff
